The farm basket was born in the summer of 2024 with Elle's love of flowers. It quickly became bigger and is currently situated on a section of our third generation family farm in Maple Ridge BC. Our hope is to bring you the same joy and happiness that our flowers bring to us.
Meet The Team
Elle
Hi, I’m Elle, one of the growers behind the farm basket . Me and my partner, Skylar run a small-scale flower farmer based in Maple Ridge, BC, growing seasonal blooms with a focus on quality, sustainability, and natural beauty.

The farm basket started from a love of working with my hands and being outside, and a deep appreciation for flowers that feel alive, imperfect, and truly seasonal. What began as a small planting has grown into a farm rooted in thoughtful growing and intentional harvests.

I believe flowers should reflect the land and the season they come from, and every bouquet is grown and arranged with care.

When I’m not in the field, I’m usually dreaming of flowers, hiking with skylar, or scheming up how to fit more flowers into our farm.
Skylar
Skylar is the hands and fixer behind much of the day-to-day work at our farm.
With a deep love for the land and a keen eye for detail, Skylar ensures everything from planting to harvest runs smoothly.
Whether tending to crops, caring for animals, experimenting with new growing techniques, or fixing something that Elle likely broke, Skylar brings both dedication and creativity to every task.

Sencha
Sencha may only be three years old, but as our official Operations Manager, she takes her role very seriously.
From supervising fieldwork to inspecting crops (and occasionally taste-testing), Sencha keeps us all in check.
Find Sencha snoozing inside one of the greenhouses, chasing a bird away from a freshly planted seed bed or helping cut down some sunflowers (her favorite)
